White and Yellow

We have been busy with visiting family and family visiting us the past few weekends. Before things got busy I took some time to try my hand at making some fetta.

Fetta has been my most successful cheese making venture so far. So much creamy, salty goodnes. I definitely need to invest in some more fetta hoops.

While I waited for the curds to do their thing, I worked on finishing this cardigan. For summer. Ahem.

This cardi was knit in the size on the blog for free, with some buttery yellow cotton and some creamy white cotton repurposed from an op shop jumper. The sizing was small to say the least and the cardi should look very fine on Ella next summer.

While the cardi was not a success as such, the fetta was! I popped some into jars to marinate in olive oil, garlic, peppercorns and lemon thyme. Fetta lasts for up to 3 months in the fridge in brine.

This one didn’t last anywhere near that long ; )
