We spent Good Friday morning at the Melbourne Zoo, visiting a special little girl, new baby elephant Mali. We love to visit both the Melbourne Zoo and the Healesville Sanctuary. I especially love the landscaping at the elephant enclosure, based on a Thai village.
Aren’t the orangutans intruiging? I find their similarities to humans astonishing, especially their hands and fingers.
I am off to spend the afternoon making hot cross buns while Jamie digs a large hole outside in preparation for a feast with a difference tomorrow night! I will leave you with a yummy image of the Rosewater Cupcakes with Rosewater Frosting we made and devoured last weekend.
What are you baking or feasting on over the Easter break?
(the cupcake moulds are found here, and are fabulous for reusing over and over and saving the planet by not using paper patty pans)
